Sean Cussons Business School has trained and certified 400 budding entrepreneurs and mobilized over one million people in the course of facilitating the Nigerian Government UNIDO-HP Job and Enterprise Creation Certification Programme. This was disclosed over the weekend by Dr. Cally Cussons, President of the business school.
Sean Cussons Business School (SCBS) was selected by United Nations Industrial Development Programme (UNIDO) in conjunction with Hewlett Packard Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE) and Federal Government of Nigeria to train entrepreneurs and small business owners. The project is focusing on additional 166,000 aspiring entrepreneurs and startups in Nigeria. 40,000 direct jobs is expected to be created by the end of 2019.
Dr. Cally explained that “businesses crumble as a result of absence of structures. The Job and Enterprise Creation Certification Programme was therefore initiated by Hewlett Packard and UNIDO to strengthen the human capital development of entrepreneurs and provide structured support for their businesses”.
