Advanced Management Academy has concluded plans to hold its International Women’s Day Conference today 7th day of March, 2020, at NEPC Auditorium, Maitama Abuja. The conference theme is: New Trends in Leadership, Management and Public Relations for the Women Professionals. This was contained in a statement issued by its CEO Peter Oyeneye.

Peter Oyeneye explained that maintaining interest in issues affecting women is one of the corporate social responsibilities of Advanced Management Academy. He said “it has always been part of our corporate culture to assist and encourage young people and women to pursue education, go professional and be self-confident”.

The Conference will feature notable speakers and experts. According to the statement, “the goal of this conference is to engage and challenge the women and young girls to raise the bar of opportunities that are available to them. The speakers will also motivate them to embrace leadership, management and public relations skills which are very germane in today’s very dynamic society.  Young boys and men will also be at the conference to learn more on how to relate and empathize with our women”.

Advanced Management Academy is the leading public relations, management, media consulting and training organisation based in the city of Abuja. Over the years, the Academy has helped several client organisations tackle challenges and deliver on promises in Nigeria and Ghana. Building on the vast experience of its well-trained, highly motivated and focused team of Nigerian professionals, the Academy is positively redefining standards for best practices, professionalism and service delivery.

CEO Peter Oyeneye was a Member of Governing Council and National Training Coordinator (2005 – 2009), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). He is a Fellow of the Institute with 30 years corporate experience. He has also authored 7 books and facilitated trainings outside Nigeria, and across 34 States of the Federation.

International Women’s Day 2020 global campaign theme is #EachforEqual; an equal world is an enabled world. It is an annual celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. The United Nations began celebrating the day in 1975 but it became a national holiday when women gained the right to vote and be voted in Soviet Russia in 1917.

The AMA 2020 International Women’s Day Conference (March 7, 2020) has been scheduled for 9am at The Auditorium, Export House, Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) Maitama (near Transcorp Hilton and NCC), Abuja.
